Kenny Rodgers - Goalie
John Collins,
Rob Hilton
Brian & Dennis Fitzpatrick
Brian & Michael Jackson
A few I recall playing for various.
When I played for the Warbreck, I got dropped one week after scoring a hatrick the week before against Blessed Sac ( who I went to next). The reason I was dropped was Brian Harvey ( Colin's brother), he had returned from the US and Austin the manager put him in as a " ringer" I quit them after that K

Bob, My Dad managed Ford Athletic ( Cooksons/ Tailors Arms) in the late 50's early 60's when they were a very good side. I remember Billy Hodges & Tommy Tucker, great players.
Billy was Duncan Edwards and Tommy was Billy Liddle. I remember running on with the hot Oxo at half time Ken

I played there myself Bob, the slope and the dip, usually under water. Cold buckets to wash in the dressing rooms. Walkable for us Ford lads so usually popped into the Stand Park on the way home. Later Janette was one of the first taken on by the Giro and I worked in Bridle Rd so remember it well. Ken
Bob, JOC, Junior Organisation Committe , I believe but don't know the start date. Ken

Ken spot on once again ken think bobhamo Bernie or John will come up with the other answer
Ken do you remember the long wooden building in the centre you turned left or right and yes cold water to wash your boots socks and shorts before you took them home some teams had someone to wash them remember the hail stones and running to the dressing rooms.
Best of all me was the oxo pepper and bread of the big lads.

Toughen you up those pitches Bob. I've had neck trouble for years, the Consultant reckons lots of footballers of our age had problems after heading those balls K

Hiya, hope you don't mind me jumping in to this thread. I've just edited your attachment post "awelfryn34" so the photo now displays.
I think I need to disable attachments as it is causing confusion for members posting photos. I have a thread on how to post photos through the link below...

Hope you are not too annoyed with me doing the edit, your post does now display correctly now though
Cheers,

Did anyone ever play on a pitch behind Walton prison?
I think it was a single pitch, I only ever played there once but scored two after arriving late for the kick off.
I don't recall whose home ground it was.
Cheers Ken

Bob, that is Kenny Dolce who is no longer with us. After his wife Cathy died he left to live in Carlise where his wife was born. Lost touch but his brother informed me that he had passed away.
