Hi my grandparents used to run a sweet shop( 71 Marsh Lane). They moved to Coventry during the 2nd world war. My auntie , who will be 80 next year would loved to know what it looked like before the war. All thats there now is a blank space. Also if there's anyone that lived in the area & remembers the shop or the family( surname Jenkins) would be truly greatful.
Regards

Welcome Valb
Marsh lane has totaly changed from being a community of shops and people
just on the 70s the demolision of the shops shows the size of the properties
the 2 , 3 ,4 photo shows what little remain of a close nit shopping area
so many shops where there
the 3 .photo shows what no 71 was like they are numbers up to 89
i lived right oppaisate to the block where no 71 was
sadley no photos
a working class area with great people
