Hi all

I must say sorry.

I was halfway through uploading pics of Bootle in WW2 then things went mad busy.

I was contacted by many people wanting to use bits from my wartime website for the 70th Anniversary of the May Blitz.

Add to this work and my 7 month baby and it has been hectic.

Plus I go away in 2 weeks ( no not jail )

I will get to these pics soon and get them posted up ( I promise )

Ok if anyone is interested. Liverpool Blitz 70 are using some of the stories for their website.

Merseytravel are using a list of people killed in the May Blitz at the Woodside Ferry terminal.

Liverpool Echo are using the Mill Road Hospital story for their special edition Blitz paper. They will use other stories if they have any space remaining. I have tried to plug the Co-op shelter with them. I can only hope they print it.

I did an interview with the BBC last week. It will appear on their news website in May. The wartime website will be advertised on radio Merseyside during the Blitz week.

Anyway hello again.

Book ; "The Battle of London 1939-45" reviewed in last week's Sunday Times.

It is a history of the civilian population of London during the war.
