Great photos, that was our home ground when I played for Borthwicks, when I left Marsh Lane I had a flat around the corner so dead handy. There was a pub just at the bottom we changed our name from Borthwicks to the name of the pub I forget the namebob. b wrote:Eddie you and. Others. Played. Many. A. Game. On that ground oxo and milky. Brian Bromilow played for Pentagon I remember him I was just a baby when I played against him. John King was at Marine before he went to usa. Billy Knowles was my minder thank god, mind you he also got me in terrible states. My first game for eden vale was against my old team Borthwicks I remember doing a great slididing tackle on Billy just as he was about to shoot but I caught him and for a minute I thought he was going to chin me lolbob. b wrote:Hilly some great teams played on that ground pentergon windham bootle st james antree eden vale alex bensons doric meranda could go on and on.
