Many people pop on to this thread to ask for advice and help with family research or the like.
Our amazing "genies" give their time and resources to help you. They do this willingly and without charge, too often without even an acknowledgement from those who ask.

If YOU are one of the people who has been helped may I suggest that you show your appreciation by donating to the running costs of the site. Details of how to do this are at the top of the board.
Help with funding is needed to keep the site online; without your help it might not be here next time YOU need help!

Well said bee.
A little help can go a long way in researching family and quite often is priceless, so a small gesture would go a long way in maintaining this wonderful old forum.

Thanks Phil, Loretta and Keithmas.
To date Mack has had only 14 donations; I'd bet there've been far more than 14 requests for help from Jan, Bob and Co!

Good shout Bee

Hope it doesn't fall on deaf ears.

Aside from the casual users this was addressed to, it's very disappointing to hear only 14 'regulars' have made donations, too.

Thanks Bern, just popping this back up to the top so lookers-in don't miss the opportunity to help keep the site online.

Just bouncing this up: it’s as true now as it was last year
