Noticed this on the Marine FC web site...........pity, I wanted to go to that match.

Never knew that Marine & Bootle have not met in a league match for 70 years....!!

Can't find any other local games (not Premier league) on Boxing day or 27th either.

Any ideas appreciated.

Hi Marian Square..........Thanks for the reply........sadly I saw it too late to take advantage........they're sold out again.

So I was gonna take a trip to Vauxhall Motors Sports ground near Ellesmere Port to watch 'City of Liverpool' (The Purps) v Widnes.

However, that's now postponed too...!!......aaarrrggghhh.

Anyone know of any Rugby going on anywhere today ....??

Thanks for that Dan.....a mate told me the first half was dull but (3) goals in ten minutes early in the 2nd half sparked it into life.

You're unlikely to read anything about it in "The Manchester Red" (Echo) as they persistently avoid any mention of Bootle FC (!)....(Rant over).
