Brilliant result for Skelmersdale United last night .

Beat Longridge Town, away, 1 - 0 in the FA Cup 3rd qualifying round.

Furthest they've been in the FA Cup since 1972/73.

One more qualifying round and they'll be in the 1st round proper.

Bootle FC closed, for two weeks minimum, on October 1.

Tier 3 looks as though they may have to extend that closure.
