Hello All,
My Dad William 'Harry' Hudson was born in Bedford Rd in 1931 before moving to Gray St late 1930's/40's. in the 50's he played football for local team St Winifred's in the Bootle Joc. In 1957 they played in the Liverpool Cup Final at Anfield against Rea United, my Dad scored 2 (A Riley and G Smith) in a 4-2 victory. If anyone remembers my Dad or his family i have the sad duty to inform you of his recent passing, he was 88 years old. He always talked about Bootle. He will be loved and missed always
Regards
Paul Hudson (son)
