Acquired a copy of this recently; FORD UNITED (Ex Crosby & District league), yet I think it still qualifies for inclusion.
Back Row; Colin Ord, Chris Pennington, Stan Littlewood, Jim Grifights, Fred Geraghty (RIP), Phil Cahill (GK), ? , Paul McCabe, ? Cahill.
Front Row; Mick Brooks, John McIlroy, Stan McIlroy, Mascot ?, Glen McClean, Tom Dempsey, Paul Amundsen.
Taken in 1973 @ Brook Vale (me thinks).......some cracking players in this lot......a privilege to have played with 'em. (!)
(Maybe someone could kindly enlarge..??...Ta)

Hi Bob ....Thanks for the enlargement.
Yes....Some of the Ford Utd players did indeed play for Ford Villa in the JOC........we both ran from "Cookies" (The Taylors Arms in Ford).
They were the Saturday team & we were the Sunday team........had some laffs in 'Cookies', I played for Bootle YMCA on Saturdays.
Peter Cumiskey was indeed a fine player, played against him too a few times myself.

Hi Invicta......Chris Pennington was a real character & a real sage in footballing terms.

Can't finish without thanking DAN for his amazing input....(!!).....Thanks Dan.
That latest clip of Orrell Pleasure dressing rooms was stunning.............image the car-park needed now for 42 futty teams.......never mind the congestion. !!

Thanks Paul.
What got me was the Mayor taking the kick off in a white suit. Amazed at all the different leagues in the area as well.
Couldn't resist a bit of enlarging and editing.
Only criticism of Peter Cumiskey. He listens to Smooth FM while he's working.
